The South Island of New Zealand has some of the most dramatic and contrasting scenery of the world. From snow capped mountains and deep fiords to subtropical rain forest and surf beaches.

Cape House is situated on Cape Foulwind on the Northern West Coast of the South Island.

Cape Foulwind was named by Captain Cook when he encountered difficult winds on this part of the 'Coast.

Nearby is the town of Westport which is the northern-most centre of the West Coast region. Westport is just 4 hours drive from the metropolitan city of Christchurch and has air services 6 days a week.

Cape Foulwind provides many sights and activities. The Northern West Coast area extends this to some extraordinary scenery and activities for all ages.

Cape House is a large open plan house in a secluded environment on this wonderful piece of coast.

The atmosphere is friendly and funky. You can chill out or get active with all the area has to offer.
